iPhone 6 launch pushed back to October: Apple insider

releaseApple is rumored to be pushing back the newest iPhone 6 until October — the latest in tech land’s most popular (and annoying) guessing game.

Specifically, the new phone could launch Oct. 14, with the entire month shaping up to be an “incredibly busy one for the company,” MacRumors reported, quoting a source.

The source said a senior store leader let slip that Oct. 14 would be an “immense” day for Apple, while adding that the company is planning a media event for Sept. 16 — a full month ahead of the device’s launch.  More
