Verizon’s Lumia 2520 hits stores Thursday for $400

Verizon Wireless will get its own Lumia 2520 tablet — a day earlier than AT&T.

Verizon said Monday that its version of the Lumia 2520 would hit stores on Thursday.

It will sell for $400 when purchased with a two-year contract, although Verizon said it was a limited-time offer.

It will cost $500 sans contract.

Verizon will at least take advantage of the color options, offering both the black and red versions online, while the black is available in stores.

The Lumia 2520 is Nokia’s first tablet, and runs on Windows RT 8.1, just like the Surface 2.  More
